About Guy McLean

Guy McLean is a self-taught Australian horseman. Since 1999, Guy has been featured in countless horsemanship shows, allowing him to build himself an impressive career in horsemanship built upon trust, compassion, love, and respect.

Guy was named an official “Ambassador of the Outback” in both 2002 and 2006.

In 2005, Guy was the winner of Equitana's “Way of the Horse” competition.

After building his reputation as a successful horseman here in Australia, he decided to begin expanding and building his skills internationally. Guy proudly competed in the 2010 World Equestrian Games, and has since competed in countless shows in the US and Canada.

Guy believes in always placing the horse before the man; he places a strong emphasis on listening to what the horse needs and wants. Quite simply, Guy’s approach to horsemanship is to treat your horse the way you want to be treated.

How This Sponsorship Was Formed

We believe in collaborative achievement driven efforts and that's exactly what this sponsorship is all about, After Guy purchased our product and uploaded a video of him using it at his property (Nuggets Rest) we got in touch with Guy's wonderful wife Emily and after a long chat positive chat on the phone the rest was history! said Jake Fowler Paddock Blade's Owner and Operator.
